Dr. Dyne Lugol’s Solution 2%

Lugol’s Iodine Solution was created in 1829 by Dr. Jean Lugol, a French physician. He mixed 5% iodine and 10% potassium iodide in distilled water. Through this combination, Dr. Lugol was able to achieve remarkable success.

Today, Lugol’s Solutions are generally a 2% iodine, 4% Potassium Iodide, and 94% Deionized water.
